Bring It, 2012

I'm not going to make any promises regarding this new year. At least not anything like "lose weight", "stop smoking", or "get published". Mostly because I have learned from nearly two decades of trying that my weight is not something I have complete control over (hello stress!), I can't really make anyone publish my projects if they don't like them and, well, I don't smoke.

Instead I'm going to spend the year working on being more creative. I'd like to see steady photography work by the end of the year, but we'll see what happens. I have some fun ideas about my writing goals, including working on a story outline so I might be able to complete this year's NaNoWriMo when November rolls around. And I'm going to work on my illustration skills a fair bit.

For now I'm going to work on getting these baby blankets done by February!

May 2012 bring you whatever you are hoping for.

  1. Right back at you! (Though really, you're already so creative, if you get any moreso you'll take over the world.)

  2. For what it's worth we gave your pictures to several people (a few of them professional photographers) and showed them to many more over the holidays. Everyone who saw them loved them, and if they lived around here I told them who you were.

  3. Thanks, Christa!

Kate - I'm not quite sure how to respond that doesn't sound weird. It's very flattering to hear that everyone liked them! I'm mostly glad that you liked them enough to give them to people. :)
