As a cohost I get to give away a prize to a random participant (all 8 of us do which translates into 8 chances to win on top of the totally awesome thing someone makes for you) and I had to think for a bit about what in the world I would give away as a prize. I mean...really. WHAT DO I GIVE???!!
Instead of making something as a prize I've decided to give one of my absolute favorite things handmade by someone else away. What is that thing? Jewelry.
Awwwwww yeeeaaah.
Not just any jewelry, though - a Karolin Felix original.
See, I am not really a jewelry person. I don't wear much beyond my wedding and engagement rings. Sometimes I bring out a necklace when wearing formal wear but it is usually something simple hanging on a non-flashy chain. Maybe the singular diamond my parents got me for my 21st birthday. My casual jewelry choices bounce between two things - my copper locket which houses pictures of my loved ones, and my pencil necklace.
When I first saw Karolin Felix's pencil necklaces in her Etsy store I kind of fell in love with them. Obviously. And when I got mine in the mail it was as awesome as I'd hoped it would be.
So now, you will get a chance to win one! This one, in fact:
But only if you participate in The Covert Robin.
Remember, you still have a week to sign up, and then until the end of March to get your goods made.
